Brighton-based indie rock quartet Shady Baby have dropped their new single, ‘Under Duress’. Now that the band has progressed from a solo project into a full band setup, they’ve started to experiment with a grittier, darker sound. The verses are atmospheric and tense, while the choruses drift into a wide, cinematic landscape filled with bittersweet hooks. “It’s about how your state of mind can take hold of who you are, and trying to shake off a version of yourself you didn’t mean to become,” explains vocalist/guitar Sam Leaver.
